What Does It Mean to Be Healthy?

The most important question one could ask when considering their health is; what does it really mean to be healthy? Most people would readily define the word “healthy” as strong and in good condition and resistant to sickness and disease. In my opinion the definition should be adapted to fit a more complete picture of the individual. Health is a complex state of mind, body and emotional well being where infirmity and illness are absent. For healthy people looking for Paid Clinical Trials, go to Trials 4 Us

A number of definitions have been employed over the years for various purposes. In modern times the term healthy has become associated with general wellness, weight loss, longevity and optimism. For example, you would likely find that the definition of healthy is something along the lines of “dwelling comfortably in an environment that promotes physical and mental well-being”. Other associated ideas for healthy living might be: low blood pressure, stress levels, low cholesterol, low sugar, low sodium, a low intake of tobacco and alcohol. This means that addiction to any substance of alcohol or drugs is not an option. Fortunately, an online MAT clinic can definitely help you with whatever you are facing right now.

So, what does it mean to be healthy? A definition provided by a professional may not capture all the subtleties and nuances that the definition may mean for one person. I believe a definition can only be as good as the person using it. It is up to us to keep our minds open to information and hopefully, learn from others who have experienced the same challenge as we have. Our health is an aspect of who we are, what we are passionate about and what makes us tick. Being healthy means having a complete picture of yourself.
